Wilkievious “Kie” Jewett started the 14-month electronic technology program at Cape Coral Technical College in February.

From his first day in class, he has stood out for his willingness to ask questions and fully engage with projects. His passion for the field is evident in both his work and his long-term goal of becoming an industrial electrician.

His instructor notes that he’s known for his patience, kindness and ability to help others understand challenging concepts. He often takes time to assist peers, contributing to a positive and collaborative learning environment.

A graduate of North Fort Myers High School, he currently works part-time while balancing the demands of his 6-hour per day career certification program. After graduation, Kie plans to pursue an electrician apprenticeship, with a career goal of advancing into industrial electrical work.
