Jessica French is an ambitious and compassionate student in the veterinary assisting program at Cape Coral Technical College, where she has been excelling since the beginning of February.

She consistently goes above and beyond in the classroom, serving as a positive role model for her peers through her strong work ethic, initiative and willingness to help others succeed. Jessica is known for staying after class each day to ensure the learning environment and laboratory is clean and organized, demonstrating both pride and responsibility in her work. Her instructor notes that when classmates face challenges, she is the first to offer support, inspiring others to follow her example.

She has dreamed of working in veterinary medicine since childhood. While enrolled in the veterinary assisting program, she plans to complete her 8-week externship at the Peace River Wildlife Center, gaining hands-on experience in wildlife rehabilitation.

After graduation, Jessica intends to continue her education and become a credentialed veterinary technician, with the long-term goal of specializing in wildlife or zoological medicine and inspiring future generations to pursue similar passions.
